Youth Support Services

We’re excited to announce that Endaayaan Awejaa is now offering a range of support services for Indigenous youth (aged 15-29) and their families.Our services include:

care packages & medicine bundles

Care packages include hygiene products, self-care items, and culturally appropriate essentials tailored to meet individual needs.
 

Each medicine bundle contains traditional medicines such as sage, sweetgrass, cedar, and tobacco, supporting spiritual and emotional well-being.

2SLGBTQI+ SUPPORT

We offer a safe, inclusive space for Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ youth, providing peer support, advocacy, and referrals to affirming services.

CULTURAL SUPPORT

Through ceremony, traditional teachings, and land-based and cultural activities, we help Indigenous youth connect with their traditions, Elders, and knowledge keepers.

hOUSING SUPPORT

We assist youth in finding safe and stable housing, connecting them with emergency shelters, transitional housing, and rental support resources.

employment support

From resume building to job searching and interview preparation, we assist youth in finding meaningful employment opportunities.

education support

We provide guidance on school enrollment, tutoring, post-secondary applications, and funding opportunities for Indigenous youth.

parental support

We offer resources and peer support for young parents, including access to baby supplies, peer support, childcare support, and referrals to community programs and resources.

harm reduction & recovery support

We provide non-judgmental support, monthly sharing circles and recovery socials, and connections to culturally safe recovery programs and harm reduction services.

emergency food, clothing & transportation support

We provide urgent assistance with food, clothing, and transportation to help ensure youth have access to basic necessities in times of need.

mental health referrals

We connect youth with Indigenous-friendly therapists, counseling services, and culturally relevant mental health resources.

criminal justice referrals

We provide referrals to legal advocates, Indigenous justice programs, and support services for youth navigating the legal system.
